Climaveneta & Delta Techniki support mountain running in Greece

Mountain racing is perhaps the most modern form of sports in nature, gaining more and more ground in our country. To prove it the "Parnassus Path" race was held with great success a few days ago, on April 26, with the support of the largest company of heat pumps in Europe, Climaveneta and Delta Techniki group of Companies.

The "Parnassus Path”, is already organized for nearly a decade, since 2007, by a very active club of the γρεεκ province, the sports club of Amfiklia "Dionysus." In this year's race 438 adults and 150 children took part. The length of the route was 24.2 km on mountain trails, forest and country roads of the north side of Mount Parnassus with a total altitude climb of 1.620 meters. The shortest route for less experienced athletes was 10.9 km long with 790 meters height difference. In addition, a special race took place in the streets of Amfiklia where children from 6 to 15 years old participated. All races were held with the strictest safety standards. Older athletes experienced a great physical challenge in nature while younger children enjoyed sports and the spirit of "fair play."

Mountain races are events that combine sport with natural environment. On the other hand, the technology of heat pumps, is the environmentally friendly way of heating, air conditioning and production of hot water. In order to operate, heat pumps use 70% renewable energy that is freely available from the environment. It is this philosophy match (environment at the center) which made Climaveneta – Delta Techniki to choose to sponsor the "Parnassus Path".

Climaveneta, the largest European manufacturer of heat pumps, is partnered in Greece by Delta Technical Group. This event was sponsored as part of Delta Techniki’s Corporate Social Responsibility plan.
