Piraeus Tower, Piraeus

The Piraeus Tower is an 88-meter-high building with a panoramic view of the “heart” of Piraeus, the construction of which began in 1972 and was completed in 1974. It has 22 floors and two basements, with a total built-up area of ​​34,623 square meters. In 2021, the reconstruction of the tower began, which is expected to be completed at the end of 2023 while its new glass, bioclimatic facade is ready that will transform it into a modern office and commercial building named Piraeus Tower.

The Tower has a digital and “green” character, it has been scanned and digitized with BIM technology, which helps ensure that all systems are controlled electronically, with autonomous operation of each floor, depending on the needs of the users. In addition, the Tower aims for LEED Platinum certification, the highest level of the most widespread sustainable building rating system, as well as WELL certification, which concerns the health and well-being of users.

DELTA TECHNIKI’s contribution to the design of the building is the supply of the appropriate heat pumps.
